11th April 2006 Windsurfing: Ynyslas Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: 25-30 knots Surf / Sea State: 2 foot surf Air Temperature: 7ºC Sea Temperature: 9ºC Weather: Rain Max Speed: Distance Covered: A miserbale old day, especially after the glorious sunshine of the last few days, but I forced myself out for a nice early session whilt the wind was blowing. Wheel-barrowed my kit over and set up my 5m and my wave board in the pouring rain. It was high tide but the tides are small so the water was only just making it to the pebbles. Onto my board and straight on the plane and thats the way I stayed. Perfectly maxed out the whole time which led to an epic session. Some nice steep ramps too perfect for launching me into some massive jumps. I must admit I did close my eyes and bail out of the biggest of them! Needless to say there was no-one else out, the rain hurt my hands and face, but it was well worth the pain and the effort to get out early... I Love it!. |
